GAMBLING IS BAD 2
im back. back again. with gambling is bad part 2.
yes yes. as i said session 3 was on sat. i lost AGAIN. arghhHHH! i give up. im nt gonna gamble again. i tink leos cannot gamble this year. scorpios out there. please go gamble, whatever. cuz its your year. apparently u'll b rich this year according t the horoscope thingy. its quite accurate as of yet. i choose t believe it. hahaha. actually when justin was the banker, i was winning quite some of my money dat i've lost back. den stupid trac losing money, so she wanna be banker. den dammit i keep losing t her again. SHE JINX ME! ArGhhHh. she's just too strong. i cant "KE" her back. but of course, the "CAI SHEN YE" of the night is none other den PHEE. he lost so much money t justin. justin was super duper lucky. "ban lak" is a norm to him. anyways. this yr im nt cut out t gamble. its all cool. and no. blackjack havent replace monopoly. if blackjack replaced monopoly, den we'll be on our way t visit li nan xing. (why li nan xing? cuz he's the spokesperson for the gambling rehab centre or sth).
feb is comin t an end alr. time pasts so fast. soon it will be april and kas will b in US and trac will b in thaniel-land and karho will probably be admitted into the gaming rehab centre. oh man. boring month it will b in april. when boredom sets in, i'll turn t WoW. den i'll be NO LIFE. oh no! ok this sounds lyk lonesome people turning to drugs. hahaha. anyways. april's still a month away. lets not think so much.
speaking bout thinking, there's this person dat appears in my mind every now and then. i dunno why is tis so but its happening. i dun lyk haf any special feelings for her yet. but i just feel i wanna know her more. interesting t see how this turns out =)
school starts this week. not good. sighs. apparently karho is not spotted on WoW ytd. so KAS, GOOD SIGN?! hahaha

Friday! bowling?
yaY! i went to "lao" yu sheng wif my parents ytd evening. wooo! hope i'll be lucky lucky lucky! tonite is round 3 of BLACKJACK! hope all GOOD CARDS come my way.
went out wif gnet ytd nite. initially she ask me t decide where t go. i din haf any idea where t go since orchard road is closed bcuz of the chingay procession. therefore movie in town is out of the question. den she suggested t go play bowling. how random is that. hahaha. so off we went t play bowling
we went yishun safra t play. got our shoes and lane. we went there. we looked at the scores of our neighbours. PROOO! anyways we started playing and it took me a while t remember how to throw
the ball straight dwn the centre. but still i got trashed by her in the first 2 games. i dn remember the scores but i noe the difference is lyk bout 20 or 30 pts. SAD! at least i won the last game. consolation! hahah.
we left after dat and went t serangoon gardens for supper. ytd was the first time i walked along the street bhind the rk house n all. there r a couple other shops n pubs there. theres even a
liquid kitchen which seems t b doing quite well. its located at a place where it cant b seen if u're driving on the "main" road along chomp chomp. anyways we went t this ice cream place. ate waffles. mmm niceee. they've got many exotic flavours. they've even got my favourite black sesamee ice cream. omg damn nice. hahaha. but in the end i took peach sorbert cuz gnet took black sesamee. peach sorbet was nice too. the shop's called ice3. 3 = cube. they open till 1am. they located along the stretch of shops where RK house is.
bowling was fun. remind me of those days when me ree n ben were crazy over bowling. i remember playing till my fingers hurt for a week. hahaha. oh well. guess dat y i stopped bowling n concentrated on pool and tennis. hahaha. i played 3 games ytd n my fingers hurt. i wonder hw those pros play lyk 30893085 games in a day n they dun complain bout their fingers. oh well
perhaps i've got the wrong technique. but of course, my ball dun spin. hahaha!

GAMBLING IS BAD
due to entensive picture n text content, i shall blog bout my thailand trip tnite or sth.
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR! i noe im late. just gt back frm thailand on tue. had a smashin time there. eat shop eat shop and more eating. anyways. had lotsa ppl over at my place on tues nite. lets see. kas,trac,ken,ben,innyi,ree,justin,gab,joe were all in my humble abode. gab n joe were busy playin winning eleven while the rest of us were gambling. BLACKJACK's the game. and how crappy this yr is. we gambled frm 9 to 2am. i lost bout 30+. sighs. GAMBLING IS BAD. trac won bout 80! omg! after that couple of us went for prata. where kas was so tired dat she's lyk so stoned. hahaha. we went hm after we finished our prata. zonked out not long after while watching the man utd match.
woke up when the sun's shining bright on my butt at 12noon on wednesday. got into the mood of playing WoW. since everyone's asking me t lvl, i decided t play. just when i logged on. trac sms me saying she's on half day leave. HAH! NOT FATED TO PLAY WoW. hahaha. oh wells. went out wif trac. went t watch The Protege. pretty darn nice show. i rate it 4/5.
cant believe louis koo took up sucha role. so not him. took me bout half of the show t realise dat it was him. hahah. but well its sth fresh. not a role u'll see in other movies of his. andy lau was good as usual. dat "smiling den suddenly changed t serious" face is classic. he does it damn well. so darn cool man! not forgetting daniel wu. hottest man alive. and of course, how cld i not mention the babe of the show, zhang jing chu. havent heard of her b4 this show. her acting is quite good n she is one hot drug addict. hahaha. her lil daughter in the movie is damn cute too. kas says zhang jing chu is too skinny. at first i tot she looked okay but now after looking at the poster again. i agree wif kas. she do look a lil too skinny. she looks boney. but nonetheless HOT. hahaha.
we headed home after the movie. both of us, together wif ree innyi n ben, went t kas house for MORE GAMBLING in the evening. dun get me wrong. our intentions werent just t gamble. we too wanted t go her place to bai nian. and forgetful me forget t bring my oranges. anyways, once again i din do well on the gambling table AGAIN. we played frm 8 to 10.30pm. i lost 18 bucks. darn. being banker made me rich at one point in time but it killed me at the end too. sighs. WHERE IS MY LUCK? i've been winning 2 years in a row. is this the end of the streak? NOoOoO~ GAMBLING IS BAD!
went back to work todae. after a long break, im not used t the "long" hours in the office. hahaha but tmr is friday! gonna eat YU SHENG wif my parents. LUCKY LUCKY! saturday gonna eat again. hopefully the nxt time i gamble i'll win back my losses. HUAT AR! hahaha!

February the 14th Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day to All!
another lonely valentine's day this year. dun think will b doin anything special. normally on this day of the year, i'll feel sad n lonely when i see couples ard me while i think of the gurl i lyk. but this year, i dun feel that way. perhaps its cuz i've got no one to think of. hahah. i too tink dat valentine's day isnt just 14th of feb. valentine's day is every moment spent wif ur loved one.
i'll take this time to look back on my past crushes.
i remember i was still new and shy when i just joined peirce sec. trying to make new frens. din really talk t the gurls. until this pretty lovable gurl initiated a conversation wif me during art class. Ivy was her name. she was my first fren in sec sch. i remember we got veri close. we chatted on the fone almost everyday. sometimes we cld be on the fone for 4 to 5 hrs. and for kids of dat age (13), 4 hrs on the fone is a really long time. cant remember wat we talked bout thou but i do remember she played a piano piece for me t listen. i still remember it was jacky cheung's ai shi yong heng. everything was cool until after holidays, i suddenly din wanna talk to her. i din noe why i did dat too. till this day i still regret dat i din pop the question. we cld've been together. but oh well. life goes on.
my nxt crush was in sec 2. and i liked her till we graduated frm sec sch. it was quite an open secret dat i was in love wif her. her name's yenni. dat name wld b familiar t my childhood frens. i always mention bout her last time. i duno why i nva made any move. i was too shy to do anything. until my best fren during dat time won her heart. after dat i threw random tantrums at him whenever i see him. and bcuz of her, i got scolded by my best fren for the first time for my random tantrums. i've nva seen mybest fren pissed off until dat time. i crossed his line. i still remember the stupid things i do. i remember when my fren told me they broke up cuz she's leaving for michigan t study. i was celebrating in front of him. come to think of it now, im really an asshole (THAT TIME). hahaha! after we graduate frm Peirce, she left for michigan and that was it.
during my holidays after Os, i got t noe my nxt crush, Dawn, frm ben and innyi. i fell for her the moment i saw her. she was pretty and cute. she's got a voice dat melts my heart everytime i hear her talk. i dun remembering goin out wif her alone. just tagging along whenever ben n innyi n her goes out. dats how we got closer. we smsed and chatted wif each other for quite a while. she was the first gurl dat i actually confess my love for. not once but twice. but of course, i got rejected twice. i still gt the msn chat log on my com i think. hahaha. not long after she's got herself a bf which she is still attached to NOW.
a year into my poly life and this nxt gurl i liked was a classmate of mine in sec sch. nva had special feelings for her dat time thou. i started falling for her when i saw her at a class gathering. we went out often wif other close classmates too. she is none other den lijuan or better known to my poly pals as kimberly. i bet she din noe she's known as kimberly to my poly pals. its lyk a codename. hahaha. she had lotsa admirer. frm her poly frens to ppl frm our clique. we bcame veri close frens. she told me lots of stuff lyk ppl falling for her and ppl confesing to her dat kinda stuff. i din noe y i din confess my love for her too. instead i went agnst myself t advise her who to pick. what was i thniking. and of course before i know it. i was too late. and i only confessed to her when she told me she's attached. she was atttached to a guy frm our clique. he liked her since sec 1. guess it must b lyk a dream come true for him. till today, they too are still a couple. thou i've heard lotsa ups and downs in their relationship, im sure i'll receive their wedding invitation in the near future. hahah!
after her, i kinda lost faith in love. but came along this gurl named linette. introduced by ben and orange. yes ben the matchmaker again. im sure this name is familiar to all my frens. of all the gurls i fell in love with, my relationship wif her was the most drama, most complicated and most enriching of all. i learnt alot frm our relationship. even thou our love relationship was a brief one. but it was the friendship we built after our relationship dat was memorable and unforgettable. she was my first true love. she brought me into lotsa emotional rollercoaster rides. we had ups and downs. she may haf done hurtful things t me but i never stopped loving her since the day i knew her. been 2 1/2 yrs since i know her. we haf been bestest of frens since we broke up. but until recently, things haf changed. she's gotten herself a bf and we're drifting apart. im sure her bf wld b over the moon t when he noes this. and of course, if she hadnt gotten a bf, i'd still b head over heels for her. now i've truly gotten over her. ready to start afresh once again. but i do admit i still feel sore dat she's attached to someone else. im not sore bcuz i still love her now. i feel sore bcuz i dun tink he loves her more den i do. but if breaking a few bones in ur hand bcuz of ridiculuous reasons determines the amount of love one puts in. den he beats me hands down. i feel sore bcuz i dun tink he is any better than me. the only thing i can think of dat he is better den me is dat he is filthy rich. oh and when i said rich. i meant R I C H in a big way. lyk what ben wld say, quote "rich? big f*** ar?" and i'll laugh to dat. well, she made her choice and i respect dat. no more late nites on the fone. no more overseas call to her. none of dat sort. i can only wish her all the best and hope she made the right choice cuz i wun b there anymore when she falls.
and now a new chapter awaits another gurl to fill it up. and till the gurl comes along, i'll b enjoying the wonderful company of my friends. friends make up a huge part of my life too. but dats another story for another post at another time.

mahjong!!!
went t camp in the morning for some national education tour thingy till 12.30. went t pick kaixin frm
her sch at 1 and down we went to far east plaza t meet karho n justin. subway's what we had. yummys! ben n innyi came nt too long laters. we left the place after karho cut his hair and ben had his lunch. bumped into jeanette on the way. gawd sooo much makeup. maybe's the eye liner. she looked so different!
then we made our way down t smu t visit linette's booth. well she wasnt there when i reached. i was looking ard for her booth (and actually i was standing in front of it). then when i looked at the booth in front of me. claire was lyk ERIC!!!!! and i was lyk.. okayyy. i din expect dat reaction cuz we've never met. my face must b quite memorable as she identified who i was quite confidently. hahaha. well we waited for linette for 40 MINS. FOURTY MINUTES t come back frm lunch. tsk tsk. went back t her booth. and we found... JUSTIN'S LONG LOST TWIN BROTHER. omg. hahahaa. shawna's bf looked almost identical to justin. but our dear justin definitely looked better than him. hahahah. he looked more blur den justin. hahaha. and justin looked more cool! so nw we noe. justin's a fine line away frm being blur. hahaha. well and of cuz. we saw HIM. thou we din talk, i sensed hostility. or more lyk, WE sensed hostility. oh well NOT INTERESTED. so much for that.
we headed to raffles city for dinner. we had DIN TAI FENG. pork chop fried rice! nicee! we walked t bugis junction's cold storage t buy snacks. and den we walked back t park lane t get my car. i cant believe that karho convinced me t walked frm raffles t bugis and to park lane. idiot. tricked me. told us isnt dat far. den when we're actually tired and dragging ourselves. he said actually quite far la. i got conned. hahaha.
and off we go to kaixin's house for mahjong!! it was already 10+ when we reached there. been a long time since i played some serious mahjong wif money. we started playin at 11. den kaisi came at bout 1am. i started off
alrite. but den i bumped into some bad luck. and at a point of time i lost bout 15 bucks. gosh. ever since, what ever money dat was played on the table was mine =( i manage to win some back at the end. my total loss was $8.50. justin won 7.50. kaixin won 90cents and ben won 10cents. we stoped at 5.30am. dat was 6 hrs of non stop mahjong. wooo! even thou i lost money. it was FUN!

the day we shopped for a rolex (with an auntie)
left my loads of stress in camp at bout 3. got dwn to bugis junction to meet kaixin n kaisi. i started out the day thinking dat i shld start eating lesser today. i ate breakfast. den i ate a light lunch. and when i met up wif them, they said we're gonna go sakae sushi for the buffet. and there goes my plans of eating lesser. (we shall start nxt week! damn!) we din eat really alot. wasnt really worth it thou. WHOS IDEA WAS IT TO EAT BUFFET! hahah. we sat dwn there for bout 1 1/2 hrs. after the first rd, we had lyk a 30 min break b4 continue eating. i tried t continue. but i cldnt. hahaha. im a small eater =x
we left for orchard and reached there at bout 6. shopped ard far east plaza. den went on t lucky plaza t meet kaisi's "mother in law". den we went ard shopping for her lorex.. i meant rolex watch. went t a couple of shops. den we went t paragon. thats when auntie revealed more of her "true" self.
she was haggling wif the guy in a very "teh" manner. lyk OMG. imagine a 60+ yo lady "tehing". trust me. simply UNBEARABLE. i felt lyk killing myself on the spot. just picture dat. its paragon. and she's haggling for it lyk she haggling for a fish in the market. or even worse.hahaha. nooo! thankfully kaixin was there. so i can just turn t her n complain. hahaha. kaixin did a crazy thing in the shop too. she danced the "cockroach dance" wif kaisi in the shop. the other shop attendant was lyk looking at them n laffing. i was lyk oh noo!! gimme a hole to hide myself! get me away frm these 2 crazy gurls!!!! hahah. we then continued on to taka n wisma. our legs were lyk super tired. finally auntie decide to go home.
so then i was time t go home. sent kaixin home first. we stopped by at her place for awhile first. we were lyk looking thru her old photos. gawd she looked beefy n hip-hoppy! hahaha. den we looked thru past year books. i realise. i know lyk half of their class. i feel
lyk im frm thomson sec. hahah. how nice it is to flip thru year books and look at how people were last time. i see little BEN, little JUSTIN (FAT AND ROUND), little phee (FAT AND ROUND), little kaisi (little ah lian hahahaha), little kaixin (little boy) and so many more.. and slowly year by year, people change. justin bcame thin. fat boy = normal looking boy. ben looked taller? but phee still fat. just nt dat fat. hahaha. sometimes i wonder m i from peirce or thomson. hahaha. i seem closer to these thomson people. maybe, i shld've went thomson. and maybe i wun b dat fat nw cuz everyday gotta walk up dat long slope b4 reaching the school. hahaha.
well it was another day filled wif fun n lame jokes. looking forward to mahjong on saturday! win all ur money ahHH! hahaha

everybody who havent catch this movie. please go watch it. it is dat damn good. its bout illegal diamonds leaking into the market and the lives taken in the process of attaining these diamonds. it educates us to insist on buying CONFLICT-FREE diamonds. this movie is a must watch as the killings do take place in reality. and children soliders in the movie really do exist. as many as 200,000 children soliders in Africa. i do regret not watching this movie in the theatres. leonardo di caprio's acting is getting better by the day. he did amazingly well in the departed. and nw this. really changed my perception of him being a pretty boy actor. he proves to be more than that. i rate this movie 4/5. **** a MUST-WATCH!

forever young!
what a smashin good time i had on saturday. we had joy, we had fun, we had.. (no seasons in the sun) but we had laughters. loads of em.
our day started off at vivocity. had lunch at HK Kim Gary restaurant. wat a name for a restaurant. when i first heard it, i tot it was some korean restaurant. there were 6 of us. justin me kaisi kaixin and 2 of her frens, szemin and sharon. well her two frens were kinda shy at first. but after a while, i tink we were all crappin ard, so i guess we're all okay. hahaha lunch was enjoyable except the fact that.. KAISI KEEP WHACKING MY RIGHT ARM (i got whacked from day to nite). why do i always get to know frens dat are so violent. first was michelle. now its kaisi. oh wellsh. i tink i've got "WHACK ME" written over my flabby arms.
after lunch, we walked ard abit. we went downstairs den we saw some HK actress and actor promoting their show at the starhub booth/stage. kaisi n kaixin ran towards the stage lyk some auntie to catch a glimpse of them. hahaha. i call em auntie bcuz. young ppl watch taiwan idol drama. aunties watch HK dramas. hahaha. after dat, szemin parted ways wif us first. how sad.... AAAAnyways.. the remaining 5 of us continued shopping ard. kaisi bought a pair of shoes from crocs. are crocs dat nice to wear? it looks pretty darn plain to me. i never liked em. they are lyk FAKE shoes to me. cuz they're soo plastic. we went 'toys r us' too. kaixin wanted to buy pictionary as monopoly is getting kinda bored (i guess so too cuz she never wins, HAHA!). we searched for it but to no avail. 'Toys r us' do not sell pictionary. well i came up wif the conclusion that 'toys r us' is halal........ do u get it? Pictionary -> PIGtionary? HAHAHAHA! i was pretty crazy dat day. my mind was generating loads of lame jokes. and i kept suaning kaixin n kaisi. hahaha. i told kaixin dat we should always start from basics. since she keep losing monopoly. she shld start wif monopoly JUNIOR first *points to the game on the shelf*. perhaps she wld win. HAHAHA. i noe i noe. evil. i was on a roll. hahaha. we continued walking in the store. and i found a replica is kaixin on the shelves. check this out.
STRIKING RESEMBLANCE! your long lost plastic sister! how freaky. the doll's name is buenos nochus. try pronouncing it fast. and u'll get BRAINLESS NO CHEST. hahaha. i'll definitely get this for your birthday, kaixin. hahaha. i'll get u a bigger star too so u can hold it lyk she does.
hahahaa.. not long after, we left vivocity. sharon went off and it was the four of us left. we returned to my home.
was bout dinner time when we reached my place. settled down for a while before we went to IVINS for dinner. dinner was alright. din eat much but was kinda full. our food took awhile to come. so kaixin started snappin pictures of us.
after dinner, we went back to my place. ben innyi and (larry)ree joined us back there. we started off playing HEART ATTACK! gosh ben knew i sucked at that game. he wanted t see me panic and all. but i was pretty composed. at least im not always the last one to stack my hands. thanks to kaixin. if nt i'll always be the slowest. hahahaha. YOU made me look good. hahaha. there were loads of laughters thruout the game. this week, i followed ben's footsteps of laughing and falling off my chair. actually i wanted to move back to sit on my chair. so i was happily laughing den i sit backwards just to find dat my chair isnt there. before i know it, everyone's laughing at me. oh well. dun expect to get words of sympathy when u're ard these ppl. hahaha. our laughter = our care and concern. hahahah. we played monopoly when innyi left to meet her frens. so justin, ben, kaixin, kaisi, ree were the contenders for my crown. it was a game where all properties are scattered among all players. but once the underground trading starts. the game starts. kaixin traded wif alot of people her properties just to find out dat no one wans to trade her the properies she wanted. so she sold all her properties and kept on playing wif just money. it was impossible for her to win. but.. she outlast justin! i cant remember whether she outlasted ben too. she was so busy as she was the banker too. her saviour came when innyi came back. and innyi was our full time banker. hahha. the final 3 came down to me kaisi and ree. but not long after. kaisi succumbed to our hotels. hahaha. and the final battle came down to me and ree. but the champion of the day was not to be mine. larry's luck was just too good. keep skipping my rows of hotel. and somehow i kept visiting his KRUSTY KRAB (Mayfair equivalent). in a matter of rounds, he took all the money i've collected from the rest of the players in the earlier stages. so the champion for the week is larry. no one has defended their crown sucessfully yet.
after that, we went out for supper. went to the tong soi look alike HK cafe across the road. food was alright. perhaps i was hungry. after supper, we all went home.
it was a fun filled day. the more the merrier. how true is that. i was cracking jokes all day long. frm day till night. we laughed non stop too. at the end of the nite, we kinda had stomache cramps. hahah. too much laughing. hope time will not change any of us. hope we'll grow up and still be crappy forever. hahaha.

the mind cafe
games. there were 7 of us. me,ree,ben,karho,kaixin,joanne,jude. it was loads of fun. we played 3 games in the span of 3 hours. first we started of playing a game called YOU MUST BE AN IDIOT!
brief description:
Can you tell who's really an Idiot and who's just Faking? Each round, everyone is dealt a card telling them whether they are an Idiot or not. The current Genius gets to ask a special trivia question of their choice from the card in their hand. Everyone writes their answers down, but... if you're an Idiot, you MUST answer incorrectly. Once all the answers are revealed, it's your job to figure out who's definitely and Idiot. Gotta be careful though! Call somebody an Idiot who's not and they steal points from you! And Idiots who don't get caught get bonus points! So the question you have to ask in this game is.... Who's REALLY the Idiot and who's just fooling?

the last game we played caused a few bruises and swollen hands. it was called Halli Galli.

REE's the ULTIMATE champion. hahaha. pro pro. i was just mediocre. nt very alert.
we left at 11+. before we left, i did something damn stupid. there was this game called mad gab or sth. it has this buzzer on the board which let out a buzzing sound lyk a fly. so i was lyk
